National Initiative for Cybersecurity Careers and Studies

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Security Agency (NSA) jointly sponsor the National Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) program. Working together, the NICCS (National Initiative for Cyber Security Careers and Studies) professional certification program was created. Our studies have been approved and are available trough NICCS Education and Training Catalog and usa.gov.

National Institute of Standards and Technology

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is a measurement standards laboratory and non-regulatory agency of the United States Department of Commerce. Its mission is to promote innovation and industrial competitiveness. Our studies have been mapped with NIST's cybersecurity workforce framework.

Commitee on National Security Systems

The CNSS IACE program was established in 2000 as a pre-requistite to applying for designation as a NSA Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance (CAE-IAE). Under the new NSA/Department of Homeland Security (DHS) National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) designation program, CNSS certificates serve as validation that study meets national standards. (Accredited from CNSS 4011/4016).

FBI Cyber Background Chart

FBI Cyber Background Chart consists of both Preferred Degrees & cybersecurity certification programs. Our studies were placed on FBI's Tier 1-3 preferred certification training chart.

Florida Department of Veterans Affiars State Approving Agency

The State Approving Agency (SAA) is the link between the Veteran, the School and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The SAA's role: To review, audit, evaluate, approve and oversee schools and training facilities to ensure that the quality standards of the programs of education and training under the established State and Federal criteria are met.

California Specialized Training Institute

Under the reorganization of Cal OES, CSTI has evolved into a statewide enterprise with responsibility for supporting training, exercises and education in wide variety of areas including but not limited to: emergency management, public safety, homeland security, hazardous materials, disaster recovery and crisis communications. CSTI is no longer just defined by the San Luis Obispo campus you may be familiar with, but is beeing developed into a more holistic resource to support your needs whether you are a government, non-profit or private sector organization. As they move forward you will see CSTI further develop its capabilities to support by utilizing collaboration, leveraging of funding and resources, partnerships, relevant technology, current information and subject matter expertise in order to enhance capabilities at the individual, organizational, agency and jurisdictional level, wheter if participate online, at their facilities or ours.

Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training

Established in Legislature in 1959 to set minimum selection and training standards for California law enforcement, the POST organization, with more than 130 staff members, functions under the direction of an Executive Director appointed by the Commision.
